We assist your preparation for the State’s Structural Carpentry open book test by:
Below is a breakdown of the experience requirements:
* 4 years of project time as a W2 employee of a licensed Structural Carpentry, General, Building or Residential contractor (unless you worked in a state that did/does not require a license).
* Can substitute up to 3 years of college credits from an accredited college.
* College credits do not have to be construction related!
* Time is calculated by Employment Date.
* Check off at least 4 of the 7 following experience areas with the Installation of Structural Framing:
* Vertical Studs
* Rafters
* Exterior Wall Sheathing
* Horizontal Joists
* Floor Trusses
* Ceiling Joists
* Shear Walls
* Maintenance and/or Repair of:
* Structural Framing
