Structural Carpentry Online Exam Preparation

We assist your preparation for the State’s Structural Carpentry open book test by:

• 1)  Testing your progress through practice quizzes. Quizzes are randomly generated from a data bank of hundreds of questions. You can take practice quizzes over and over never repeating the same quiz.
• 2) Using our Flashcard program for quick and easy memorization of answers. Flashcards show the correct answer, the reference and math solution when required. You will be able to review every question.
• 3) Taking a Final Exam simulation with the same number of questions and time limit as the State’s test so you can practice time management and your test taking skill.  This section may also be taken as often as necessary to ensure passing the first time.
• 6) IMPORTANT: Upon purchase, your online package will be active/available on your device for six months.

Obtaining a Structural Carpentry Specialty Contractor License in Florida

Below is a breakdown of the experience requirements:

* 4 years of project time as a W2 employee of a licensed Structural Carpentry, General, Building or Residential contractor (unless you worked in a state that did/does not require a license).
* Can substitute up to 3 years of college credits from an accredited college.
      * College credits do not have to be construction related!
      * Time is calculated by Employment Date.
* Check off at least 4 of the 7 following experience areas with the Installation of Structural Framing:
      * Vertical Studs
      * Rafters
      * Exterior Wall Sheathing
      * Horizontal Joists
      * Floor Trusses
      * Ceiling Joists
      * Shear Walls
* Maintenance and/or Repair of:
      * Structural Framing
